Getting to the Festival

The 77th anniversary Steveston Salmon Festival is taking place across Steveston Village. There are multiple ways to get here and we encourage all visitors to choose a sustainable method of transport where possible. Here are a few suggestions:

ON FOOT:

If it’s possible, walk to the festival! There’s lots to explore, so taking a stroll to the festival and throughout the grounds is a great way to get in your daily steps.

ON BIKE:

The ride into Steveston includes many great bike routes. Take the path along the waterfront to start your day at the Britannia Zone or ride down the Railway corridor. Bring your bike and store it in one of our two bike valets. No bike lock needed as this will be a secured compound and operated just like a coat check. You can also leave your strollers here too. Don’t forget your helmet!

  • 9AM–5PM: Wheel Watch – located on the festival grounds east of the Community Police Station
  • 10AM–5PM: Steveston Bike Valet – located at the Gulf of Georgia National Historic Site parking lot
