Getting There and Admission

Are there baby change tables on site?

Yes, you can find these inside the Steveston Community Centre.

Where is the festival and how do I get there?

The festival will take place on Wednesday, July 1, 2026 in Steveston Village. For ways on how to get to the festival grounds, please visit our Getting to the Festival page.

Do I need a ticket?

No tickets needed! Admission to the festival is free.

Accessibility

Are there baby change tables on site?

Yes, you can find these inside the Steveston Community Centre.

Are there sensory kits available to use at the Festival?

Yes! There will be sensory kits available at the Information Tent located in Sammy’s Fun Zone that can be signed out for use during the festival.

Are any of the shuttles offered accessible?

Two of the seven shuttles have a limited number of accessible spaces. There will be one accessible shuttle bus running on each route throughout the day. Visit our Getting to the Festival page, and click under “Shuttle Bus” for more information.

Will there be accessible parking spots available?

A limited number of accessible parking spaces will be available on site at the intersection of Chatham St. and 1st Ave. See the Festival site map for the location. After the parade, additional accessible spots can be found throughout the Village street parking and lots.

Will there be accessible seating for the parade?

A limited number of seats will be located on the bleachers by the grandstand in front of the Easthope Hub, located at 4320 Moncton Street.

Alcohol

When and where can I purchase alcohol?

You can purchase alcohol from the Adult Beverage Area in the Spirit of Steveston Zone between 1–7:30PM.

What are the rules for purchasing alcohol?
  • Two drinks can be served per person at one time.
  • All customers wishing to purchase alcoholic beverages must first obtain a DAV (Drinking Age Verified) wristband from the ticket booths.
  • Patrons must be 19+ to purchase alcohol, and will produce two pieces of ID (an official government issued I.D. that includes your name, picture, signature, and date of birth such as a drivers’ license or passport and a secondary piece of I.D. with your name and signature such as a credit card) to receive their DAV wristband. Once they have a wristband, they can be served a licensed beverage.

Miscellaneous

Will there be ATMs on site?

There are no ATMS available on site. ATMs can be found at various Steveston Village bank branches.

Are there any ATMS on-site?

No ATMs will be available on-site.

ATMs are available at the various banks located in the Steveston Village.

Do most food vendors take Square payment?

Yes, but please ensure you have cash as a backup method of payment.

Which areas tend to have the longest line-ups?

Please anticipate long line-ups for the Salmon Bake, Chow Mein booths, as well as the activities in the Salmon Run Youth Zone.

What is your policy on taking photos/videos?

Photos and videos are limited to personal use only.

Is smoking/vaping permitted on-site?

No, smoking and vaping are not permitted on the festival grounds.

Can I bring my pet to the festival?

Pets are permitted to attend the festival, with the exception of only trained and certified support dogs be permitted in the Spirit of Steveston Zone.
