We Dance Association of Canada

Founded in early 2021, Vancouver We Dance Association of Canada is composed of a group of Chinese women who pursue their dreams and embrace life with passion. Using dance as their language and emotion as their rhythm, they bring the beauty of everyday life to the stage through movement, elegance, and artistic expression.

The dance group is under the artistic direction of June Liu, a graduate of the Beijing Dance Academy. Ms. Liu is a recipient of the prestigious “Five-One Project Award” and the Gold Award of the Lotus Cup Dance Poetry Competition in China. With her profound artistic background and genuine passion for dance, she continues to inspire the team to explore and grow artistically.

Under her dedicated guidance, the group has gradually developed a distinctive artistic style that blends learning with performance, classical with contemporary, and Eastern ethnic traditions with Western influences. Over the years, Vancouver We Dance Association of Canada has presented numerous acclaimed performances throughout Greater Vancouver and has become one of the region’s most distinctive and influential multicultural dance groups.
