Our city’s biggest nautical celebration is BACK! Our city’s biggest nautical celebration is BACK! The 19th Annual Richmond Maritime Festival take places Aug. 20-21 at @britanniashipyards. This year’s in-person event is free, with no tickets required! 

The weekend-long festival is perfect for the whole family. There will be puppets, build-your-own cork boats, live music, storytellers, and of course, a whole flotilla of wooden boats!

Stay tuned for more programming details, including a list of this year’s performers and food trucks.

In honour of the 75th anniversary of the @stevestonsalmonfestival, we're inviting everyone to come record a short video about one of your most treasured moments or memories in the community.

🎉 Call for exhibitors, performers, and artists! 🎉 Call for exhibitors, performers, and artists! The 75th Anniversary @stevestonsalmonfestival returns IN-PERSON this year from June 25–July 1, 2022. Apply today to be a part of this milestone occasion — deadline to apply is May 20. 

This year’s festivities will celebrate the rich history of the event through storytelling, demonstrations, hands-on activities, and activations by local artists, merchants, and community groups. Visitors will get an opportunity to share their personal memories and treasured moments in Steveston. Community is at the core of festival programming, which highlights the themes of family, fitness, and fun.
 
The traditional parade will be replaced with a number of festival zones spread across the village of Steveston. Visitors will be encouraged to explore the re-imagined, accessible festival format on foot, bicycle, scooter, or wheelchair! Live music, exhibitions, and more will stretch from Garry Point Park to Britannia Shipyards National Historic Site.
